In case you haven’t noticed, Trump now leads in one poll or another in VA, OH, FL, NC, NH, IA, and tied in PA. That’s the electoral college right there.

Basically that’s the key polls with maybe one or two others. Trump and Clinton
are going to win certain states without ever campaigning in them, such as CA-Clinton,
TX-Trump. It’s these swing states that matter and where the Trump campaign needs to
spend time, money and effort. JMO.
But there is a reason you don’t just “cede states.” First of all, you just never know. Cankles is running ads in CA. Why? I thought that was safe?
Second, national gains in non-critical states add to the momentum and “inevitability.” Once you are at 48% in some of these states, a lot of people will re-think and a lot of people who normally don’t vote because their vote “doesn’t count” all of a sudden vote.
