New York Post ^ | September 4, 2016 | Susan Edelman

The city is still holding on to more than 3,500 personal items found in the World Trade Center wreckage, stirring anger and anguish in relatives who have tried for 15 years to claim anything their slain loved ones left behind.

The families of those killed are begging the NYPD to let next-of-kin see the remaining jewelry and other sentimental objects sitting in storage, saying the city has needlessly shrouded them in secrecy for too long.

The stuff will be sold in order to finance a mosque.

To show just how powerful our MSM propaganda machine is, 9/11 has almost been totally swept under the rug and forgotten. The financiers and perpetrators have not been punished while many of the victims such as the airlines, The Port Authority and the American public have.

The article explains how the OK authorities laid out all the found belongings after the Federal building bombing, the families got to go in and look, and there were zero mix ups and false claims.

Geez. This is a heart thing not a possession thing. No family member will grab at a broken piece of jewelry of ANOTHER family. To touch their loved one’s watch or even pen might be very significant for people who have had NOTHING since the morning they said goodbye. And what about these young adults who don’t even REMEMBER their parent?? Come on, spread them in a hangar and let the families come through.

New York is one of the most corrupt and mis-managed cities in the country. This doesn’t surprise me a bit.

Typical New York and typical NY cops. Wouldn’t put it past half of them that they were trying to find some way to make money off the stuff.

....Retired NYPD Sgt. Will Sekzer never recovered the $22,000 Rolex watch his son Jason, 31 — a newlywed and vice president of operations at Cantor Fitzgerald — wore on 9/11, even though he gave the NYPD a photo, receipt and serial number....

This blows my mind, unless it has been claimed by the widow.

“...$22,000 Rolex watch...”
“This blows my mind, unless it has been claimed by the widow.”

I’m guessing it was claimed by whoever found it. Finders keepers.
