Two years later the terminal patient is still around and kicking after tricking(or whatever) another Judge instead of doing her time.
There was a convicted criminal in Dallas that got a gullible federal judge to give him a compassionate release because he only had less than 6 months to live due to a terminal brain tumor. He enjoyed freedom for another 13 years before he died of natural causes. The judge didn’t hold the lying doctor or the lying lawyers responsible for their misdeeds.
The real victim was a co-defendant who really did have terminal cancer. After having been suckered once, the judge didn’t let him out until a few weeks before he died.
