“Value Voters” always gives me the mental image of a discount center where if you buy two voters, you get the third one free.

These are the sort of gigs I think Pence should speak at and Trump should keep doing his outreach to the low information voters like blacks, Hispanics and the media.

And after 2-3 “serious” appearances, he should get with his Show Biz buddies and lead into an appearance with Gary Busey or Trace Adkins or Gene Simmons or Dennis Rodman - someone the “values voter” might hold their nose at but someone the “values-free voter” might find some attraction to, guys the Bushes wouldn’t be caught dead with but Trump appears to be quite at home with given his Celebrity Apprentice connections with them.

I’m sure the FR crowd would disagree but Trump’s advantage as the “non-politican” is to bring in guys your run-of-the-mill Republican could never attract.

Trump, the businessman, would fire people on the show who didn’t appeal to their “heavy-hitters” for charitable donations. Trump, the candidate, ought to also call on his “heavy-hitter” connections to bring in some celebrity favors to stand at the campaign stump with him. I bet Arnold Schwarzeneggar would do it. What would he have to lose? Then perhaps some Bush-hating yahoo could go “maybe I can vote for this guy if he’s chummy with ....”

Gotta keep using the “unconventional campaign” approach and think outside the traditional box.

If your so called “values voters” hold their nose at Gary Busey, then there’s something wrong with their Jesus...

I met Gary Busey years ago...at church...

He was a solid Christian man and apparently had better values than those conference attendees...
