The illness that sickened Hillary Clinton with pneumonia and caused her to have to be escorted away from September 11 ceremonies in New York on Sunday also struck down several members of her campaign team at Clinton headquarters in Brooklyn, PEOPLE has learned.
"Everyone's been sick," a campaign source tells PEOPLE.
At the end of August, two weeks before Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia, a debilitating bug was making the rounds among staff at her headquarters and campaign aides who travel with Clinton, a source tells PEOPLE.
At least half a dozen senior staff were felled, including campaign manager Robby Mook. Two top advisers even needed emergency medical treatment, the source says. One top adviser diagnosed at a Brooklyn urgent-care center with a respiratory infection was being treated with antibiotics in the days before Clinton's diagnosis. Another top adviser was taken by ambulance to the ER by ambulance after collapsing from what turned out to be severe dehydration, the source said.

Who was that around here that predicted (after the last coughing fit) that she was going to “play dead” for the debate? Oh yea, it was me. I thought she’d fall out on stage and she still may.
A body double makes sense. Hillary was whisked away to a private clinic to recover, and this woman was at the apartment (or dropped off there) for a timely full recovery walk.
Don’t know how they would do the voice, I guess some practice and coaching would do it for short phrases.
Hillary’s been having these coughing spells since before the primaries. I think they began sometime between 2013 and 2015. I’m surprised the more honest media hasn’t picked up on it.
A)---"Photo-op Girl", and Chelsea's kids, won't get pneumonia, because Hillary doesn't have the contagious type.
B)---But all her staff came down with pneumonia at the same time Hillary did.

Seriously folks, don’t know about you, but, I’ve had pneumonia and a host of worst crap that I don’t want to go into. But, NEVER have I stumbled like that.

She didn’t merely “stumble” it was a complete collapse — the aides did not merely help her balance or return to her own standing position, they dragged and shoved her into the van like a sack of potatoes.
What was incredibly revealing was that they did not pause even for a moment to help her onto her feet, to communicate with her or each other about what to do.... both aides (on each side of her) “knew” that they had to lift/shove/drag her into that van just as fast as possible. That is an incredible fact, if we reflect upon what it means for her condition and for what the aides around her are trying to do.
Any normal person would have been helped to stand and stabilize in place. Instead, their mission was to manhandle her into that van just as fast as possible, by any means necessary. Astonishing.

I have seriously considered the body double thing too. . . would not be surprised if they needed to do something like that, for situations just like yesterday, knowing her health issues. Actually it would be relatively easy, once having an excellent impersonator (voice and mannerisms), to do a little plastic surgery on a willing accomplice. It’s a streeeeeetch, but nothing is out of the question with the Clintons. Ever.

So they say it is contagious, yet there she is going into crowds and hanging around children.
My experience with pneumonia is family, and friends only. Never had pneumonia myself.
I was of the impression pneumonia was brought on by defeat, or as I read in the link below compromised immune system ie; from one’s body fighting off some other condition, or disease, thus the exhausted immune system being subject to viral infection, which is most likely susceptible lungs.
My perspective wasn’t totally correct, but from what I’m reading it was almost correct. As everything in life there’s no categorizing everything into a single basket. :)
So, compromised immune system seems to be the majority of the basis of pheumonia be it from Parkinsons, cancer, heart disease, something that has worn the immune system down during a fight for life so to speak.
IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE!? Someone who can fill us all in as to whether the above is right, partially right, or dead wrong?
