How long have dems wanted this European socialist nanny state idea? Some conservative this guy will be, just like people told you in the primaries. We have voted in a blue dog democrat or better yet a rino and Republicans are going to call him conservative when he is no where near what we are supposed to stand for, but you people have fallen for the hate Bush II propaganda.

People have no memory or logic and propaganda easily persuades them. Yes, I understand this is a globalist vs American election not conservative vs liberal one but America is done either way, just slower enslavement to the state instead of fast enslavement to the new world order. Either way you are enslaved.

I’m afraid that what we’re seeing is a major realignment of the parties in America.

The Democrat Party has moved more toward a European Socialist Party, and the Republican Party has moved toward the Blue Dog Democrat or east coast Republican Party.

Kind of a little earthquake moving everything a little to the left.

The Republican Party now stands for huge federal stimulus programs, not touching entitlements and expanded federal roles in such things as daycare.

These next few years will be difficult for small government conservatives. There just may not be a role for them in the American political spectrum anymore.
