Yes, but they reference "pay to play" LETTERS, and the email comes from an attorney. My guess, is that of a certain sized donation, the law firm has advised the DNC to have the donor sign a letter stating that the donation was made freely, with no expectation of favors or special privileges in return (hence, a "pay to play letter"). That would give them some backup in case a "pay to play" matter came up.

What I find interesting is the way she strongly insists that these donations "get put in the operating account". Where else would they go? Someone's pocket?
