I have wanted to order a mid size pickup for a while now. There is really only the Tacoma. I want rubber floor mats, no carpets, hand crank windows, manual locks, no fabric headliner, vinyl bench seat, locking hub 4 wheel drive, and towing package.

Just a working truck..........Almost impossible to get unless you are a utility company or fleet buyer.

There is a high tariff on imported pickups that effectively keeps smaller, cheaper pickups off the US market, so US makers don’t need to make one to compete.

Tariffs are indeed the best way to raise money for the federal government, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have some negative effects.
