I think, particularly in Florida and Ohio, there may be "reciprocal" coattails. Where Trump is lifting the Senate candidates among some voters, and the Senate candidates are lifting Trump among other voters.

I am hoping the same happens in NH. Ayotte isn't my favorite Senator, to be sure, but if a strong performance by her helps Trump... I'm not going to throw it away.

Kirk in Illinois was a lost cause from the get-go, and it has nothing to do with Trump. He won that seat in an off-year election in a Republican wave. He was endangered from the instant he won.

Any money the Republican Senate Campaign Committee has earmarked for Kirk should be pulled and reallocated. Ron Johnson in Wisconsin is now neck-and-neck with Feingold, and Joe Heck can seal the deal in Nevada. Ayotte is also surging ahead in NH. Meanwhile, Mark Kirk is toast, and anyone with half a political brain knows it. Better to spend the money on winnable races. Kirk can join the rest of the GOP-E on that long march to political oblivion after the election.
