This reminds me of a Beverly Hillbillies episode when Mr. Drysdale was going to make Jethro Vice-President of some division in the bank to keep him out of trouble.

The punch line came when Granny refused to allow it, after she found out what “VICE” meant. I think the line was:

Granny: “I found out what “Vice” means, and you ain’t having anything to do with such goings on!”

I remember changing "Vice President" to "Nice President" with a little bit of gold paint.
