Trump is close in MN and up in Ohio. My unscientific reading of this has Trump in position to take Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Iowa.

Souther Central Lower Canada is poised to rejoin Jesusland.

What was Fritz’s slogan back then anyway?

Mondale: half the charm of Carter but all the cowardice

?

This comes from the Minneapolis “red star and sickle”. It has promoted terribly biased polls in the past year. The real conclusion is that it must be very close if they say it is 6%.

What? This is Minnesota where the gaggle of liberals elect Mark Dayton, Amy Klobuchar, Al Franken (still in shock at that one!), Keith Ellingson, and a barrage of socialists. Either more conservatives have moved to that state, more liberals have moved out, or they’ve simply started gaining some sense.

Damn, even Ronald Reagan couldn't take Minnesota - either in 1980 or 1984.

Reagan probably won MN in 1984.

Mondale only won the state by about 3,200 votes -- less than one vote per voting precinct.

Reagan was winning, but the precincts on the Iron Range held back their reports until everyone else was in. Then, they delivered a huge tranche of Mondale votes... just enough to put Mondale over the top.

The Texas election judge for Box 13 in Texas would have been proud. Look it up, it's how "Landslide Lyndon" got his nickname.

If the candidate had been from anywhere else, Minnesota may have voted for Reagan that year. Mondale was a local and we are a loyal bunch. I was only 10 years old at the time so I played no role in that.

#7 It is the Lutefisk. See other links on the right side.
I believe the jellied Lutefisk infects the brain that and the 6 months of winter.

See reaction at about 45 seconds

It's not so much that Minnesotans are dumb.

It's just that MN democrats are so adept at finding votes in places like car trunks and graveyards.

That is shockingly close in MN.
Minneapolis is Bern Country so if they stay home, it is going to be bad for Hillary.

MN has not gone Rep since 1972 and that has been the only time from 1960 onward. No way MN goes Rep.

WHY are Minnesotans so DUMB???? They elect CRAZY people, over and over!

They elect crazy people because they are crazy people. I've spent considerable time in Minneapolis on business. It's a different world. I usually refer to it as The People's Republic of Minneapolis.
