With Trump Regaining NC Lead, Hillary Unexpectedly Postpones Local Fundraiser "Without Reason" <tr>

If there was a time Hillary needed to make a public appearance in the key battleground state of North Carolina to drum up voter support, it was today, if for no other reason than a just released Elon University poll finding Trump now has a modest 44% advantage among likely voters in the Tar Heel State, with 43% going to Clinton.

According to the poll, most voters felt Trump would be better for rich people, white people and men, while most believe Clinton would be better for poor people, women and minorities. “This election is so tight right now, that small swings of a few points should be expected between now and November,” said Jason Husser, assistant professor of political science at Elon and director of the Elon University Poll. “North Carolina has been extremely important over the last several election cycles with very tight election outcomes. These numbers suggest that will continue to be the case, and both campaigns would do well to continue to focus on the Old North State.”

It's not just the closeness of the poll that makes NC so critical; it's also Trump's recent rebound, which as shown in the following chart from Real Clear Politics has him taking the lead for the first time since late June.

Old Bill must have fleeced enough donors at his birthday party so she can gather her strength for the debate Monday night. She has to have plenty time to rehearse her answers to the questions Lester Holt sent her.

Obama knows if TRUMP wins his Legacy will all be ruined! What is the chance of them cheating in a few States with tons of fake votes to swing the Election to Hillary!

We all thought the IRS & FBI was incorruptible LOL

If she is unable to take the stage at the debate next week, the Democrats will have to do something. Knowing them, it may well make things worse.

Hillary and her lawyers are most likely meeting with Paul Combetta.

THAT is why she is a no-show.

I honestly think she will claim “Relapse” and pull out of the debate. That will finish her off. I saw her Sunday on the plane saying it “wasn’t a bomb” and she really looked bad. She was very worn out looking and it was 9 in the morning. If we can keep her in this thing 1 more week it will be too late to install Biden. Kaine is not able. Absentees are printed and going out soon. The military ballots are printed. We have them right where we want them— in a ROUT!!Take no prisoners , burn their towns and salt their fields.

Given the price to attend Hillary’s Pre-Funeral in NC and the Non-Attendance by Leftist Professors and Students at Temple U, the NC event was likely canceled because nobody was willing to waste their money listening to Hillary.

Even Leftists have some sense and no when the jig is up.

PS: I just read that Trump will be at some no-name village in NC this week and expects to draw 10,000 or more to the rally.

The media can fool people some of the time, but it is becoming very apparent that Hillary is no longer a person of interest and the media cannot spin it otherwise.

Clinton is scheduled to have an event in Orlando tomorrow. Will she be there or not? It’s an event at an Outreach Center, so you can guess that it will be a tiny event of maybe 100 listless, unenthusiastic people. Then there is nothing on her schedule until the 1st debate on Monday. After that, she’s not scheduled for anything until a fundraiser on October 5th.

She’s not running a campaign, she’s sleep-walking thru a campaign. She is depending on $200 MILLION (probably $400 MILLION before the election is over) worth of attack ads, and her media minions to do the heavy lifting of actually campaigning.

Based on the national polls, she is having some success with that strategy,

Hillary has no choice. She HAS to be at the debate on Monday. There is no plausible excuse they could give for Hillary not being there. The fact that they canceled her appearance in North Carolina is very significant. She had a comfortable lead there a few weeks ago, which has since disappeared. Despite this, she's a no-show. They will keep her under wraps until Monday to build her up as much as they can. If Hillary has to pull out of the debate, or if she suffers an obvious medical episode similar to her 9/11 collapse during the debate with millions watching, there's no way she can come back from that.

That makes no sense.

Improving the economy benefits everyone. And when the economy goes south, as it will certainly continue to do if Hillary is elected, the poor people are much worse off than the rich.

Yep. No show is a sure fire negative in the polls. She has a chance if she shows. She can claim illness and use that to justify her performance.

Well hell, no need for Queen Hillary to show up there. 1% is well within the margin of deceit. With all the time they've had to perfect their treachery, voter fraud must be worth at least 4% or 5% this time around.
