I have come to think of convenience stores like cockroaches. They survive while all else around them withers and dies.
At least a dozen gas stations had competitor gas stations build literally across the street from them in Omaha, and that’s just the ones that I’ve personally seen. Waste of space and a crappy business model if gas prices go up again.
