The deeper crime was the reason why she set-up a personal email system: to turn the Clinton Foundation into a secret slush fund to enrich her (and Bill) to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. Since the Clinton Foundation was created the Clintons have amassed nearly $240 million in personal wealth. This grotesque amount is only what we know; the real figure could — and probably is — much higher.

I, and many of us, have been saying all year that the "why" of the personal email system is the most important issue. Means, motive, opportunity. What was the motive? An insane jones about personal privacy? Or, a real practical need to keep prying eyes away from Foundation business?

Yes, their personal wealth might "only" be $240 million, but the Foundation had $450 million in assets as of Dec. 2014, and for the last year and a half, I'd bet it's raked in at least that much again, as it looked like Hillary would get elected. While they can't touch and hold that money in exactly the same way as their personal money, they control it. It sends them and their cronies all around the world in first-class comfort. The minimal amount they have to donate doesn't even deplete it very much, as the accrued funds also earn tax-free income.

She is corrupt beyond belief, and it has made her rich.

The private system also allowed her to get Sid Blumenthal’s advice on State Department matters.

I recall several years ago, when folks were asking who she’s communicating with so often on her blackberry, and the answer was Sid.

Did he have top secret clearance back then? I have no idea myself, but he was definitely advising her in these matters. She’s a fraud from the get-go.

Leave aside Clinton’s scandals regarding her personal server and emails, which compromised top secret classified information and violated numerous laws.

This grotesque amount is only what we know; the real figure could — and probably is — much higher.

In other words, she engaged in a massive criminal enterprise involving selling access, bribery, influence-peddling and corruption, in which she pimped out vital national security interests and even positions within the State Department to major Foundation donors.

It was a classic “pay-to-play” scheme. The Russians, Saudis, Gulf Arabs, Chinese, the Muslim Brotherhood — practically every U.S. enemy benefited from it.

I, and many of us, have been saying all year that the "why" of the personal email system is the most important issue. Means, motive, opportunity. What was the motive? An insane jones about personal privacy? Or, a real practical need to keep prying eyes away from Foundation business?

Preach it, fellow FReeper!

The Constitution directs us to be extremely suspicious:

Article 1 Section 9:
No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state
Obama nominated Hillary Clinton to be SoS during his honeymoon period in ’09, with a filibuster-proof Senate and a strong majority in the House. Under those circumstances Hillary was able to get the Senate to confirm her, even when the Senators knew about the Foundation. But the House of Representatives was not asked to vote to allow her to remain a principal in the Foundation, which was soliciting and accepting money from foreign governments, while she was in federal office. For that matter, AFAIK the Foundation existed before her nomination to SoS, while Hillary was a NYS senator and therefore already "holding [an] office of profit or trust under” the US.

Clearly Hillary was in violation of Article I Section 1 from the first acceptance of foreign government money by the Clinton Foundation until the day she left office as SoS.

It is not even necessary to prove that the Foundation is a scam. Hillary was under obligation to prove that it was a legitimate, even necessary, charitable work. To Congress, in advance. In advance of each and every acceptance of material benefit from a foreign government. She didn’t, and she must divest herself of any interest in it.

For starters.
