I quit my formerly beloved Seattle Mariners 3 weeks ago after I found out they had a "gay pride appreciation" night at the ballpark with plenty of openly displayed "affection" by the pervs.

To hell with these people!

Nothing good ever comes from a Twitter post. Except maybe for Donald Trump.

Supporting rioters gets one kudos.

Stating a truthful opinion about rioters gets one suspended.

Only in Hussein Obama’s America.

When he is batting .221 the team is not going to back him up.

Had he been batting .345 with 36 homers, he would still be there.

I agree with Clevenger. And wish every sports team and entertainment company would act exactly like the Mariners.

If Clevenger wants to be paid to entertain he can’t say things that lose money for his employer.

The 49ers and NFL should take a lesson from the Mariners. Though the real issue is the substance of the statement not the policy and I’m sure the 49ers and Mariners would both be doing the opposite if Clevenger and Kaepernick had traded issues.

Big Media calls them PROTESTERS, not rioters.

I hope Mariners fans stay away from Safeco Field for the rest of the season.

They have for the last 10 years so the rest of the season is no big deal.

You are right. 30 years old with less than 500 CAREER at bats. He’s lucky to be able to put on a uniform. Must be stoopid. Probably drunk when he posted. I only post in the morning.

I bet front offices in MLB are dying to have someone take a knee at the beginning of games. After all MLB is just BLM backwards. But in MLB player self policing is much easier and more effective. No one enjoys 90+ mph in the neck, so if someone has a beef eventually you or a teammate will pay. There’s 162 games to get it done. I bet more players would get stuck in ribs over supporting BLM nonsense by protesting the anthem than calling rioters who destroy property animals who should be caged on twitter.

NFL teams and stadiums are paid for with tax dollars - ergo the NFL is a state funded entity and therefore a public entity and therefore the first amendment applies to the NFL and they have violated this mans constitutional rights and MUST be punished.

What a steaming pant load..... disrespecting our nation’s flag and anthem to support the violent vicious BLM morons is wonderful, but if an athlete has a more critical view he is to be banned from sport????????/ Our country is so screwed up......

You would need 3 2016 Harpers to equal one 2015 Harper. Except for the first month it’s been a huge drop for sure, yeah you can’t be MVP every year but holy cow. Maybe he’s hurt.

Procon, you are a long term resident up there aren’t you? My buddies from California that lived there for decades found the 90s hard to take and I imagine it is only going to get worse up there.

Yup, Washington is a tough state to reside in.

I live on the sane (east) part of the state and have slowly seen my state turn liberal over the past 40+ years :-(

Liberalism f***** EVERYTHING up.
