I think it is good that no small steps are allowed for Hillary. I mean, what would have happened if she had fainted and broken a bone, like she did when she fell and broker her arm.

A fragile old woman like that should not be put on any kind of step or mini-platform. It would be irresponsibly dangerous.

Cutting down the podium so she has her “kiddie sized podium” is the best course of action.

This race between Trump and Clinton has further led me to consider the matter of aging. There isn't that much difference in age betweeen the two. But I've yet to hear Trump described as "old" but Hillary is consistently cited as being old, as elderly, as aging, as sickly etc.

I'm coming to see age as more a matter of vitality of spirit and character. People of robust heart and soul are not young, or middle, or old. They have a timeless quality that comes out in every aspect of their lives. I think it comes from choosing to not be defined by the parameters of the world. Something like Tom Bombadil in The Lord of the Rings.

Hillary however has lusted after and pursued power all her adult life, and it has corrupted her not just in soul but in body. Her demand for power at all cost has taken its toll on her physically. And so she's become the female incarnation of Gollum.
