There is no such thing as “mild” pnuemonia. You either have it or you don’t. If you have it and I have you feel like chit. Short of breath, weak dry cough and no way you feel better in a day or two.

I had what they call “walking pneumonia” when I was in the 8th grade and missed 3 weeks of school. Even when I went back I felt weak as the dickens. And I was a 14 year old who otherwise was in good health and it knocked me off my feet for a while. There was no way I felt like jumping out of bed and proclaiming “I feel fine”.
