Primary debates matter. But this year, they were mostly trivialized by egomaniac moderators.
The final debates are a complete waste. They never matter. Anyone who hasn’t decided yet isn’t going to watch and probably won’t vote (a good thing).

Normally, yes, but this will be one of the most watched television events of all time. The disgust of Clinton is real; the disgust of Trump is a media-manufactured phenomenon. All Trump has to do is stay calm and act presidential and this one debate will tip the scales. After that he can coast, which is ironic, considering that's what Clinton tried to do all along.

I agree! The outcome of this debate honestly doesn’t matter. I will not vote for Hillary, and even if it were some other democrat I still wouldn’t vote for him or her. I find the politics of the democrat party to be reprehensible and offensive.
If the debate was between a Republican and members of the other parties who are also running, THEN I might find such a debate to be of value. But I really think people have pretty much made up their minds. I think Hillary is at the biggest risk here because of her health.
I’m sure she’ll get a week’s worth of sleep and get pumped up full of drugs in order to get through the ordeal.
I hope Trump also got his media list so he can be well practiced and not fall back on the same ole rally rhetoric. We already know that jobs in Pittsburg, Philly and Detroit are in the trash can, and we all ready know how great America is going to be...so I hope he has something of substance to add to the dialog.
