TRENTON Gov. Chris Christie on Tuesday maintained he has told "the absolute truth" about his knowledge of the 2013 lane closures on the George Washington Bridge, as two of his former allies stand trial in Newark for their roles in the scandal. David Wildstein, a former executive at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and federal prosecutors' key witness, has testified that Christie was told of the traffic jams in the midst of the gridlock during a Sept. 11 memorial ceremony. Prosecutors allege the shutdowns were retaliation for the refusal by the Democratic mayor of Fort Lee to endorse the Republican governor's re-election bid.

He said, “Close the fridge”
Not, “ close the bridge”
I accept that 100% . You are the man!! Go TRUMP
Christie says he’s been investigated 3 times, 2 times by Democrats, so this is another time. We will see. I tend to doubt another investigation will turn up something.
What a crazy thing, Bridgegate, I read the wiki article on it for background.
America is shackled by unsustainable debt, smothered by regulations, layered in high taxes and facing fewer and fewer citizens paying income taxes and some cannot see beyond lane closures.
and some cannot see beyond lane closures.”
Great list and comment you made. But not only lane closures, add the obsession with Trump not putting his tax returns on the internet for all to see. As if those issues you list are not enough we also have wide open borders, massive immigration, crumbling infrastructure, erosion of value system, rising crime and corrupt political system.
Trump is going to have an overflowing plate of problems to address.
Your income taxes and your SS number are all supposed to be private but everyone and their dog want them.
Saw an article about SSA sending info to Medicare recipients which have their SS# printed on the outside of the envelope and on post cards.
The government uses SS# for Medicare recipients with just a letter - generally an A- following the number. Surprised more of my generation is not up in arms about it but apparently not. Think that the House has a bill to prohibit the printing of SS#’s on mailed documents. If it goes through it’s not nearly enough protection as long as this is the number that is used for so many different transactions.
