While they touched on a few issues, really, there was only one issue they talked about in depth: Donald Trump. This is how I judge he has probably already won the election. Nobody spends that much time focusing on a loser.
What a waste of valuable time Lester Holt took up.
The birther issue?
Who CARES?
Whether Trump supported the Iraq war from the beginning?
It doesn't MATTER.
He didn't vote on it.
Hillary voted for it.
Whether Trump called Rosie O'Donnell a pig?
90 minutes of this kind of asinine minutiae!
Holt could have asked substantial questions.
Instead he just wasted everyone's time.
I think that's why Trump was thrown off a bit, because he was ready and prepared to take on *real* issues.
I hope the next two debates talk about some things that actually matter.
