MANVILLE — A high school senior says he was suspended and ordered to undergo a psychological exam for completing an anti-gun-control school project he was assigned.

Frank Harvey said a Manville High School teacher instructed him to create a video arguing against gun control for a junior college readiness class last year, according to News 12 New Jersey.

Harvey produced a video that provided examples of people who used guns to defend themselves from home invaders, the report said. His video also displayed anti-gun-control political cartoons.

The teenager ran into trouble when he mistakenly left the thumb drive with the project on it in a computer in the school library. Someone found it and turned it over to the school administration, who then contacted police.

Start a recall petition against the entire schoolboard, vote them out and replace these Nazis with Americans.

If I were the student, I would sue this school until it gets shut down permanently. But I’m sure if a mooslum left a thumb drive complete with plans for a bomb, he’d be given a medal.

Live in NJ (but hopefully won’t die here) and went to an NJ public high school in the 90’s before columbine. 9 times out of 10 if you saw me in study hall, the cafeteria or elsewhere I was reading a American Rifleman, Shotgun News, Guns N Ammo, etc magazine. I guess they’d swat me for doing that today.

And an invite to the White House.

Why couldn’t the idiot who found the thumb drive just look for the owner and return it? Geez. This poor kid got into trouble for doing an assignment. Many schools border on being hopelessly stupid AND liberal, but I repeat myself.

NJ -- proving once again why it has -- for many years, far and wide -- been known as "The Armpit of the Universe"...

"It was assigned by the teacher, and I got the topic, which was anti-gun control, approved by the teacher,” he says.

Harvey says his teacher told his family she couldn’t remember assigning the project

Right there is where I would contact lawyers and turn them lose on the school.

There should be witnesses to the event of the assignment.

The parents are absolutely right in their NO to psych exam, if the teacher has already sold out the kid with the "I have no recollection" BS how could the parents trust the " five-hour psychological exam."

And yet the libs are always so baffled that sane people constantly do not believe what they say and do not trust what they do.

That school district would be issuing written and published apology, putting that kid through four years of college, all expenses, etc.

Sorry, can’t see a problem with it. It’s a GOVERNMENT SCHOOL, which means they answer to government. If people don’t like their policies they can exercise other options.
