Interesting response to the at the original web site by a poster by the name of GawainsGhost.

Equality of rights is not equality of responsibility. The great failure of feminism is that it refuses to believe and in fact denies this simple truth. The Suffragettes fought for and won equal rights. Feminists fight for not accepting responsibility, as women, and thus lose. It goes to abject denial of biological reality. Male and female are complementary. Equal in rights, but each with unique responsibilities. This because, biologically, the female invests far more in reproduction--she risks her life to bring a child into the world--than the male. Thus, the primary responsibility for raising offspring falls on the female. They are her greatest investment.

In most animal species, neither parent is involved in raising offspring--once hatched or born, the little ones are on their own. Among birds and mammals, however, the female is solely involved in raising offspring. Only in a handful of species does the male have any involvement whatsoever.

Basically, in nature, the male establishes a territory, or a position in a hierarchy, in order to attract a female. The female then moves in to build her nest so that she can raise her offspring under his protection. Truly monogamous species, in which female and male, share responsibilities in raising offspring are incredibly rare.

Mate selection is solely at the discretion of the female, throughout the animal kingdom. But the dynamic under discussion remains the same--the male establishes a territory and the female builds a nest. Hence, the definitions of masculinity and femininity become real. Of course, the female is attracted to the dominant male. He can best provide for and protect her, and possesses the best or most preferable genes for her offspring. Her foremost concern is producing viable offspring, otherwise the investment is not worth the risk. The Suffragettes understood and accepted this. They fought for equal rights, but they did not question their responsibility in choosing their husband and raising their children. They fully realized that they were free to work and pursue a career, but in a chosen marriage they took their roles as wife, partner, and mother, parent, seriously.

The Feminists, beginning with Simone de Beauvoir, live-in girlfriend of John Paul Sartre, a Marxist, argued that was oppression. Because Feminism, Marxism in a dress, sees the responsibility for raising children as belonging to the state. No longer was it the role of a woman to be a partner to a man and a parent to her child. The central premise of Marxism is that the nuclear family must be dissolved so that the state could control the people and rule over all things. Thus women as workers are reduced to baby factories, and the children are handed over to the state, so that the women can return to work. And men as workers are reduced to sperm donors, so that the men can return to work. It's all about subservience to the state. And the family becomes inconsequential as extinguished.

There is no romance is this bleak society. No courtship, no love exists between man and woman. Nor is there any love between parents and children. Everyone is just a cog in the dismal machine.

Question: why was Hera the most powerful of the Olympians? Because she was goddess of the bed. Women have understood this for thousands of years. Feminists forgot it in forty.

From the bed, all life is born. Everything--family, society, culture, civilization, humanity--ultimately descends from the bed of a woman, her chosen mate and her children. The great lie of Feminism is that it does not.

Note that in Genesis, Adam is made of earth but Eve is made of human. That makes the female a higher order of creation, which places the greater responsibility on her. Note also that when Eve seduces Adam, after the Fall when God confronts them both in Eden, God does not question Eve. He questions Adam. "What did you do?"

Interesting take IMO.

No Sir, that is not just interesting.....It surmises in total ALL of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

People today still have INSTINCTS, and their instincts still motivate them just a little...And usually too late.

It is perhaps satisfying that years after a suddenly feminist wife destroys her marriage that she sees the truth in those words, but it is usually too late for the children she loosed into our society.

“I told you so” echoes empty in an empty land.

I would do unlike Bill Clinton did, when confronted with the truth of Monica.

I would as a Man, say honestly and truthfully to
God and all Men, “Yes, I fell to her seductiveness and I enjoyed it....BUT, it did not distract me from my duties as your missionary and leader.

Yaknow, Monica truly was a sweet innocent little girl when she met Bill...No, not a virgin, but still very innocent....All she did was allow him to use her. Monica did NOT seduce him....Bill knew of his power over her and used it.

And we all paid for the cigar only he tasted.

Monica, God bless you. Forget the past. You got stuff yet to offer.
