Why has not Congress voted on this? Or did the reps and the senators accept to hand over the Internet to the barbarians?
I believe that they did, in that budget thing which just recently passed yesterday or the day before.
The UniParty is doing this because they would like to do what they know the foreign tyrants will do with the internet. The UniParty wants internet censorship and control. They are afraid to do it themselves but they will be very happy when foreigners do it for them and they can take cover in this "internationally agreed practice."
I think they are on vacation. This is the part that infuriates me. If I were in Congress. I would take a TV crew to the White House with me and I would wage a sit in and invite all freedom loving Americans to join me. Let’s see how Obummer could ignore that.
Actually the Texas AG, seen on Varney & Co., said that, that was one of the points they were making. A "department" of the U.S. cannot give away something belonging to the U.S. This is the business of the Congress --- ya know, those weasley, spineless fellows we voted into office.
I hate Congress. I think I’m actually going to vote for Trump and no one else. Republicans don’t deserve another term.
You expect the congress to actually do something to protect the interests of the people who elected them? By now it should be pretty apparent that they are not the least bit interested in serving us. They only serve themselves.
