Actually, people DO care if you go carrying around a book in the hood because someone is going to accuse you of 'actin white.' And that can get you shot. By one of them.
Actually, I as a white guy was confronted by six armed police who had their hands on their weapons ready to aim and fire. I acted responsibly, made no sudden erratic moves, provided ID when asked. Confrontation ended peacefully. The were looking for an escaped killer and I matched the description.
1. Don't lie to the police. They may look dumb but they're probably smarter than you are.
2. Don't run from the police. Remember, you're not just running from the doughnut muncher who stopped you, you're running from ALL the cops. There's lots of 'em. and if they have to come after you their gonna be pissed.
3. Don't (EVER) fight with the cops. They got batons, they got pepper spray, they got (sometimes) Tasers, they got handguns, shotguns and patrol rifles. Fight with the cops and you WILL loose.
4. Other than to identify yourself, don't talk to the cops or consent to anything. (See 1. above.)

People should realize that a cop doesn’t want to shoot anyone in the line of duty if for any reason the amount of paper work involved.
They should also realize that the police are not your enemy.
Two words: Black. Privilege.
He, and all the other “intelligent” people leading this movement already know this. This is about “fundamentally changing our country” and power. The liberals are using these lies and exploiting blacks to delegitimize the police. The Justice Department is taking an authoritative roll in the administration of local and state police departments so they can press their agenda. Criminals, including black ones, will still get shot when they present a threat, but the Federal Government will have greater power in how police interact in the lives of people they don’t agree with politically.

I’d bet 50% of black males drive around town with warrants and outstanding probation violations. So when the get pulled over they are “antsy”.
If,by chance,you believe you were treated illegally by the cop in any way you sue for millions...and millions.

On the second episode of “Designated Survivor” — which so far seems fairly decent — the president’s speech writer (who is the token Arab) is walking down the street near his home in Washington and is confronted by police. This is shortly after the elected president, the vice president, the supreme court, and just about everyone in congress has been killed in a massive explosion during the state of the union speech. The secretary of Housing and Urban Development (Keifer Sutherland), 11th in the line of succession, is now the POTUS.
The cops want to know who he is, show us ID, where do you live, the usual drill. The cops are on edge, perhaps a little confrontational, but professional. They do not physically accost him at all.
He on the other hand, is all attitude. He makes a bunch of snide comments, and seems really put out that the police would even think to speak to him. He knows he’s not a terrorist — why don’t they know it too???
I thought it was pretty good example of why obnoxious citizens get shot. The speech writer, in my opinion, should have been smarter, more polite, more tolerant, and more understanding of the dynamics of the situation.
In the end, it was a minor incident, they checked him out and sent him on his way. But if citizens would just help law enforcement, things would be simpler. But some communities seem to find this a really crazy idea.

These 2 questions make me wonder about you. Can you be more ridiculous, as to claim trees and lightning are racists because more black people might be hit by falling trees or hit by lightning than white people.
