What happened to free speech on a public sidewalk

Yeah that’s what I was wondering. What authority does private security for Fox News or any other media outlet have to “remove” someone from a public sidewalk? On the other hand, I suppose it could be considered “disturbing the peace” or something but that would be a stretch.
