Assuming the 6 point deficit is correct, that’s not insurmountable by any means IMO.

A Trump advertising ambush could just pull it off. Speaking of advertising, I sure hope they plan on spending a lot more than the 140 million recently announced. Not that a more modest budget couldn’t get it done, but this race is close enough that a big media push could be the difference between winning and losing.

Trump would have a big hill to climb here. He's got way too many things working against him:

1. It's a dysfunctional "blue" state.

2. We have a very unpopular Republican governor (Chris Christie).

3. We're filled with migrants from all over the Third World (Latin America, Asia, New York City, etc.).

4. Our wealthiest taxpayers are leaving in droves.

No, Trump would do well to concentrate his efforts elsewhere and target his ads elsewhere. He needs to win Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Nevada and Colorado. Anything beyond that is a bonus.
