“But, then, that applies to most progressives, doesn’t it?”

She’s actually one of the happier ones compared to two piles of garbage I no longer associate with.

The late 80s cast was still pretty funny. Nothing new or original, but still managed to pull through some decent schtick. "The Sinatra Group" still kills me, though I've seen it 500 times.

I loved the skit where Phil Hartman played Reagan, who would one moment look like friendly Reagan, but as soon as everyone left......."BACK TO WORK!" and showed him orchestrating the whole Iran-Contra thing, even speaking Arabic over the phone.

Uh, make people laugh? But, hey, that ship has already sailed anyway.

I'm so elderly that I remember watching SNL with the original cast.

When you are 12 years old, you will laugh like a hyena at such silliness.

Looking back, yeah, Belushi, Radner, Murray, and Aykroyd were funny.

I still get a kick out of their commercial parodies.

Like "Little Chocolate Donuts" making fun of the Bruce Jenner commericals for Wheaties.

They weren't so hot in 1980 with the new cast, Joe Piscopo, and Eddie Murphy excepted.

They hit their stride IMHO, with the Phil Hartman/Dana Carvey years.

The writing became much more polished, and they really went for the laughs.

NOT politics, per se.

I admit I've never liked Will Ferrell.

Even though his GW Bush wasn't really that mean-spirited.

They just poked fun at the guy.

Dana Carvey actually became friends with GHW Bush.

Ferrell has said that he despises GW Bush, and refused invitations to the WH.

Now, that means you are taking yourself WAY to seriously as a "comedian".

You're just being an a$$hole.

Once it went full retard leftist, it just wasn't as funny anymore.

I forced myself to read that vat of cliche, spite, and self-aggrandizement to the end and it was a waste of time. I doubt seriously if Kaitlyn Tiffany has ever had an original thought in her life and doubt even more if she can defend the ones she's borrowed.

Actual free speech is a mystery to her and to proggies like her: a mere accusation is enough to justify denial of basic civil rights to anyone she thinks she might disagree with, and no weapon is too foul for their destruction. There is a fundamental childishness to the activist Left that protects them from the consequences of their actions - people consider themselves this infallible mainly due to never having felt the knocks in life that might have taught them better. This one will spend the entire four years of the first Trump administration (haste the day!) shrieking about how unfair the country is for not having indulged her every whim. And will vote accordingly.

(to Jimmy Stewart) "Jimmy.......don't make me have to kill you."

Phil Hartman had a great sense of timing. Even on that horrid "Newsradio" show, he still managed to steal every scene he was in.

What a loss, when he was killed.

•Former Editor-in-chief at Kitsch Magazine

Seriously? The very existence of a magazine with that title is appalling.

•Studied Development Sociology at Cornell University

Graduated? Not that it really matters.

That said, she has held more honest jobs than Barack 0bama or Hillary Clinton.
