There’s a federal election coming up in 2017. Merkel’s junta is in panic mode. That won’t help her. Besides, she has lied about taxes before.

Sniff, sniff...is that the smell of elections coming up soon? Ah, yes, the same old stench. Nice try, Merkel, no cigar this time around.

Germany is one of the NATO countries that doesn’t live up to it’s monetary obligations of spending 2% of GDP on defense. So the American taxpayer has to subsidize the German lifestyle. Trump is right..they take advantage of us.

I see you beat me to it. It'll buy a few votes maybe, but not enough.

Already some CDU twerps are openly calling for a possible coalition with the AfD. They should be lucky if the AfD would consider a coalition with them. (OK, that's not realistic - yet.)

LOL. “Half of that is from me”.

This little tax break could make some hay in the next debate, though. Trump can simply say that it is so obvious we need tax relief to grow the economy even the die-hard socialists in Germany are cutting taxes and the Clinton $1 Trillion tax hike plan just shows how out of step they are when it comes to understanding economic issues.

Around 90 percent of German companies are family run and they employ around half of the country’s working population.

In 2015, revenues from inheritance tax hit a record high of 6.3 billion euros, up 15.4 percent from the previous year, data from the Federal Statistics Office showed.

Right. Merkel has destroyed her party. Or rather…the apparachiks allowed her to destroy the party, trying to turn the CDU into a “moderne Großstadtpartei.” Yeah, CDU, have fun trying to snatch away some votes from Green Party Maoists. The vacuum hole on the right is so big now, the AfD does not even have to do anything to fill it up.
