I’m one of those “tinfoil hat”, geopolitical, “what if” freaks who looks at the map and asks, “what would I do if I were (fill in country here)?

Based on existing global events and America’s weakness out of Washington, if I were China I would invade North Korea and annex it. This would send a sea of humanity over the border to South Korea, destabilizing that area and at the same time I would go to the UN and say that we are getting rid of North Korea’s nukes as a show of humanity.

This might piss off the US, Japan, South Korea and other regional allies, but what are they going to do about it? America very well wouldn’t declare war on China for getting rid of an authoritarian regime that had nukes. And with the globalization forces as it is, there wouldn’t be a trade war.

In addition, if I were China and I did this, I would on day one, open relations with South Korea for trade, undermining US globalist interests in the region.

For China, this is an easy win.

Thoughts?

You are correct to think outside the box, because US media is just regurgitated concoction of stupid talking points.

IMHO - DPRK’s nukes are CHINA’s problem, much more so than the USA’s problem. think about it - Los Angeles is 8000 miles away from DPRK. Beijing is 400. We have an ocean between us. China has millions of ethnic Koreans within its own borders. The USA has zero influence or contacts in DPRK. China, on the other hand, probably has scores of its agents and sympathizers spread throughout the DPRK government and military. Who should baby Kim fear more?

therefore - I believe the Kim regime is quietly telling China even more than the USA - do not attempt regime change, because I can raise the stakes drastically for you.

Perceptive and maybe prophetic.

Thoughts? What does China get out of annexing North Korea? Millions of hungry mouths to feed? A thriving industrial sector? Oil reserves? A robust agricultural economy? Cheap labor, like China doesn't have enough of that?

Don't mind me. I can't figure out what Russia gets out of the Ukraine either. Let them have it. Let them choke on it.

And it would also bring in the Russians, who also have interests in South Korea.
