Here in Nevada-—we have Harry Reid’s personal Dem pick to take over his Senate seat-—Cortez-Masto.
SHE was Nevada Attny General for 8 years.
Turns out that rape kits were used on over 3000 rape victims, BUT-—Cortez-Masto DIDN’T KNOW that those rape kits WERE NOT PROCESSED;. When questioned by a member of the Nevada Legislature, she denied knowing anything about it & ‘that it hadn’t been brought to their attention’.
I cannot find one single cell in my body that will accept HER explanation of this. IF anyone as Attny General in a state should be careful & compassionate about rape victims-—it is a WOMAN...
But NOT HER-—She ‘didn’t know.
The new Attny General found money within weeks & got busy on the backlog of over 3,000 rape kits that were sitting in storage—degrading each day.
Meanwhile, the rapists run free in Nevada again & again....
