You can put us in that category. And still, once in awhile, a couple of them show up at our door. The last time they came, I told them so long as Harry Reid was a member in good standing that they were not welcome to call. They told me as they were leaving that the local congregation was probably 95% in agreement with what I had just said, but then we are in California. My wife grew up in Las Vegas, she knows
all the $hit on Harry Reid, and how the Mormon Church has “backed” him for the whole of his worthless political career. Like virtually all “organized” religions, Mormonism is a business. They seek power and money. Reid took their money and used his “power” for their benefit. Just like the Catholics with the likes of Pelosi and Boxer and the Jews for every Jewish politician. I feel sorry for anyone who has given up his personal free will to be lead around by the nose by a group of pious a$$holes claiming to be better than they are, and that for a chunk of their sheckels they wil be “shown the way!” Just how is that reallly any different than being a Muslim? The only difference is that Muslims operate on the “join up or be killed” segment of organized religions. And FWIW, both the Catholics and the Mormons used to kill non-beievers too.
Agree with what you say. I am a ‘cradle’ Episcopalian. After the Episcopal church went off the Left wing deep end, I then considered myself a traditional Anglican. Now am just fed up with all organized religion and their endless sausage-making. My church didn’t even miss me for months until the quarterly pledge receipts report was being prepared and there was a big Zero by my name. Then the phone calls came. “Where are you?”...which really meant “Where is your money?”
