I think Trump ought to come out and say he is going to run again in 2020 whether he wins or not. He certainly has my vote again given what has happened this year.
Maybe then Jeb and John would realize they are not going to be president unless they run in the Democrat primary.

This will be the last time an outsider is the nominee. The GOP and DNC will change the rules to make sure that from now on both candidates agree on the major issues of concern to the elite donor clase, namely open borders, cheap labor, and taxpayer support of the financial sector and military industrial complex.

The GOP doesn’t care about winning. They DO care about keeping their incumbency. If Trump wins, that comes into question.
If he is a trainwreck, they get tossed out in the next election. If he is successful, they will lose their gravy train.
The GOP has less to lose with Hillary than they with Trump.
He could be on fire in the middle of the road, and no incumbant is going to walk across the street to piss on him.
