Here’s What Our Biased And Totally Corrupt Media Took Away From Trump’s Awesome Gettysburg Speech
The Gateway Pundit ^ | Oct 22nd, 2016 | Aleister

Posted on 10/22/2016 10:02:25 PM PDT by Bratch

Trump’s speech in Gettysburg today was inspirational, completely pro-American and rich with policy details. He released all the plans he has in a point-by-point outline described as a “Contract With the American Voter.”

You can read all the details here.

Our lazy, biased and completely corrupt media didn’t hear any of that. They heard only one thing and they want to make sure their readers only hear what they heard.

The site Memeorandum aggregates news stories and this is what the top of the site looked like about two hours after Trump’s speech:

memeorandum-trump

These are the same people who scoff when Trump and his supporters claim everything is rigged.

They’re not even pretending to be fair.

I think that nothing Donald Trump does is without planing. This was chum and a warning to the next bimbo to erupt. The media and the rest of the establishment recognized the donkey’s head he tossed in their bed but they are trying to ignore it.

No weapon formed against him will prosper. :-)

That is not “off message” .. it was a signal to all those liars that they were not going to be allowed to smear him. And .. Gloria Allred may be in real trouble over it.

The BEST FOX is in the early morning - Fox&Friends - both weekdays and weekends. I wish I had a DVR because it comes on at 3 am in CA.

F&F seems to be the most conservative group. I rarely have to mute any of their guests.

Except for Gerry Rivers (Geraldo) - can’t stand to listen to him.

I think you are on to something Az Joe.

The leftist media needs to be boycotted.

If we continue to watch the bulk of the program content they offer (sports, cable series, cooking, movies, comedy, weather, etc), we are effectively paying them.

Their sponsors will prosper, and the networks will know that the atrocious brainwashing they call ‘news’ will be tolerated by us.

Instead, we should forego even our favorite and most innocuous programs, if they are broadcast by networks which also distribute leftist garbage on their ‘news’ programs.

I can’t believe any self-respecting American, let alone any Conservative, would watch anything that CNN or MSNBC puts on.

It just went totally beyond the pale for me about a month ago and I went form an occasional viewer of those channels to maybe 15 minutes a week for CMM and maybe 10 mins a week for MSNBC. And each of my viewing episodes of these channels probably lasted 20 seconds or less.

Just turn it off and urge all our. friends, relatives and acquaintances to turn it off. Gradually the money form the sponsors will dry and and wa laaa! They change their programming!

Those same headlines were the lead news on the radio also, WABC NY.

Steering his campaign toward controversy yet again, Donald Trump vowed Saturday to sue every woman who has accused him of sexual assault or other inappropriate behavior.

Why would the corrupt and disingenuous media want to focus on the fact that the accusers will be sued? Common sense says that there is not time to take appropriate legal action before the election. The accusers are liars and will have their day in court.

End of story.

Probably Trump needs to not “go there” with lawsuits, etc., when he’s giving a serious policy speech. Save that for rallies. But it’s a done deal. He did it and it can’t be taken back. The best we can hope for is that MSM’s abysmal reporting may catch the interest of the uninformed and they’ll research the whole speech on their own.

Can she get disbarred over it?

That would be fitting, wouldn’t it?

Fox and friends are now the token conservatives on Fox.

See reply #19.

The media has a narrative, darn it, and they're not going to let little things like facts and issues get in the way.

Crooked either riffed off the press choice of takeaway, or she planted it. One of the themes in her closing speech is that Trump focuses on personal vendettas, not the health of the nation.

Slick Willy doesn’t “go there” because he knows that his accusers are telling the truth.

I know. If he hadn’t mentioned the lawsuits, they’d have made up something (else).

When he’s President it’ll be interesting to see how much access he’ll give to the MSM, and how his Press Secretary will handle the demons. (Huckabee or Ingraham would be good for Press Secretary. Coulter would be brutal.) RSBN, OANN, etc., may quickly become favored outlets for Trump communications.

Even Fox News slanted the coverage, at least immediately after his speech. I watched it on Fox, and the a-hole reporters who came on immediately afterward said it was unfocused, talked about the threat to sue, etc, etc. Completely pulled stuff out of context.

He was talking about the rigged system. He even cited statistics from Pew. He said the media and the Clinton campaign co-orchestrated the mess, and it was a manifestation of the establishment clinging to power.

Media reaction, EVEN FROM PRO ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION FOX SNOOZE: Trump is a big meany, off message, didn’t make the sell, etc. etc.

What a bunch of jerks! Don’t be too fooled by Fox News.

It's completely plausible that in a few days CNN anchors will be advising voters to vote for Hillary for the good of the nation.

The pussy man on Fox started right in on this crap right after the speech - they want to try to get people to forget/ignore the real gist of his speech and even the legal implications of making false statements against others.

I had to switch the TV off while it was still in one piece.

My three grown up kids lost their ability to think on their own, too. The one that spent the least time in college is the one that listens to both sides of an argument. Sometimes he’s conservative, and sometimes he’s liberal. The older two are purely liberal. They think they know everything.

The trouble is, it seems like news programs can survive decades with abysmal ratings. And the very worst anchors or hosts never get fired.

I picture the news programs being some sort of “loss leader”, not expected to be profitable, because the profit is elsewhere....?

I can’t explain it, but my sense is we’d have to give up watching more than the biased news programs we hate anyway. We might have to give up TV altogether before these network conglomerates get starved out.

We the people might have to give up sending our kids to the status Ivy League colleges, and stop caring about their sports teams. We might have to give up FB or other social media spots that are leftist hell-holes .

We might have to give up products and services that are owned by outspoken leftists. We might have to stop supporting movies, music or art staring a famous leftists.

One thing is for sure. It has to be done by us viewers boycotting them - we don’t want the government to start imposing “fairness” laws. That’s the kind of thing leftists do.
