Call me crazy, but I have this sneaking suspicion that an armed confrontation with Russia does not benefit the American people at this time. A shame our leaders are too stupid to see that.

Another large military action, this one against a higher tech enemy, is exactly what our leaders want. It would consume weaponry that would not be replaced and render the US military little more than a politically correct national police force.

Have you considered that our leaders think confronting Russia benefits them (our leaders)?
