He won’t win VA. I say that as someone who lived 36 years in Fairfax County up to a year ago. NoVA will ensure Hillary wins in VA.

Well I live in VA now (not "lived"). Your having lived in Fairfax I think gave you a skewed view of the Old Dominion (I live in SW VA). I know we are not able to through here, but if there were a means, I'd be fully willing to wager $100 (or more if you want) that VA goes Trump.

I think Trump may pull out VA. I see almost no signs for Hillary in NoVA. But more importantly, I think the rest of the state will be much redder than a normal election. Southeast is also fertile ground normally for a democrat, but I think it will be red as well. An expanding military means much needed jobs in that area.

I agree I think Trump will carry Virginia. If your fellow SW Va’ers turn out in numbers like I think they will do, Trump carries Va. Blacks are not going to turn out in the same record numbers for Hellary like they did for Zero in 2008 & 2012. There is no enthusiasm for Hellary, in my NoVa neighborhood there are very few political signs. Those few you see break even for Hellary & Trump. Also Trump is a known “commodity” and can't be successfully painted as a radical evangelical. One who would baptize the average metrosexual NoVa-ian in his/her sleep like past GOP president/gubernatorial candidates were painted. (The ludicrous statements I used to hear these people make about past GOP candidates!)

I lived in VA from 1979 to 2015. I was active in GOP county politics. I served as a poll watcher and election officer over many years. I watched VA go from a solid red state to now a solid blue state in statewide elections. NoVA is why. It started when Kerry won Fairfax County in 2004, the first time a Dem did that in 40 years. Demographics have changed the state. One third of Fairfax County, the largest county in the state, is foreign born. VA is becoming like CA.

I am on for a wager, a wager I would be happy to lose. Last election, I had a similar wager but the FReeper never paid up. $100 it is.
