I think there is one potential wild card here. The Weiner investigation wasn’t just the feds...it involves NYPD. What if the NYPD found the ‘device’...logged it as evidence...had a tech access it...and found emails that were so obviously classified, that they contacted the FBI.

Could Comey risk ignoring it, or covering it up? At this point, he wouldn’t know for sure whether or not the NYPD made a copy, etc.

You need to look behind you and see that gigantic wave cresting. It's just about to hit. This is happening because Trump is winning already. People don't want to go to jail because the Trump administration finds this once it takes office. Attorney General Giuliani won't screw around. This is what victory looks like.
