I say your assessment of the situation is right on, but I would caution everyone not to think that simply pulling the lever for Mr. Trump will be the end of this nightmare. Far from it.
It will take all of us to actively engage in turning this country around and putting us on a proper heading. President Trump can and will lead, but the USA belongs to We the People, and it is us who ultimately must bear the burden of preserving freedom and liberty.
And that is not an exaggeration or distortion. That is precisely where these Maoists want to take the US.
If the Beast is permitted to take the oath of office in January, I pray that our kids and grandkids survive long enough to piss on our graves.

Last night on Hannity Newt Gingrich was a guest. At the end of his appearance four children gathered around him with Trump caps on. He urged the voters to do it for the children!
