Well at the very LEAST it gave Comey an excuse, and he might have been growing ever more disgusted with the Hillary picture.

This is exactly what I have been mulling over in my mind all day. Comey... So on one hand some have said at some point he was a stand up guy. A guy who was serving his country, interested in integrity. Can anybody who knows about his history chime in? Where did that perspective come from? Has he proven himself to be that man in years past? On the other hand it seems that he was just another bought lackey by the Clintons. Very typical of so many where they are concerned.

I believe that you can trace most corruption back to one thing always....greed. Greed of money, power, career, social standing etc. All of the major players have that in common. Greed makes you lie, steal, kill and step on others. This group have no honor inside themselves and they have surrounded themselves by those that lack honor and loyalty. So when this ship has started to sink the theory of no honor among thieves has been proven true.
They are all running for the hills, distancing themselves, throwing the next guy under the bus just to deflect and to protect themselves. None of this is surprising.
So back to Comey. Is he a stand up guy who got lost for a while but wasn’t all in and had a come to Jesus with his agents who helped him remember who and what he was or is he a rat reading the tea leaves and is trying to avoid his own personal disaster?
My personal opinion is the latter. I believe he may have been a good guy at some point but got caught up with his own greed. Maybe greed he didn’t even know he had until it was too late. He was in too deep and didn’t care anymore. I don’t believe his motivation was to “make it right”. Or to “keep his word to Congress”. Greed doesn’t work that way. His greed now is to do whatever it takes to come out of this without going to jail. Just my opinion of course.

Anyway, the staffer told me that at the end of the last meeting, they gave Comey an order, and even put it in writing, that if any other facts came out, that he was to inform them!...not only that, but he answered in the affirmative during the hearing - "I will keep Congress informed of developments" - it's on the tape.....

Ferdinand Marcos was a national Hero. He married a beauty queen

Together they were loved by the people. They were Camelot

As President, oligarchs got to him. They ruined him

The shoes were from Marikina. They were gifts that had to be accepted so the makers could claim Imelda wears my shoes

But why did he give those thorough answers to Gowdy.. maybe he couldn’t help himself... on the otherhand, if he had not given out so much damning information on hillary in the beginning (and then say no indictment) .. he made it more difficult on himself by ‘saying’ she was guilty and then shut it down.

Also, they said then, that the reason he didn’t get her it was too close to an election... which what he did this week blew a whole in that explanation. For him to do that 11 days prior to a very important election, makes it even more weird... something hit and not sure what it was... but he blew the lid off hillary’s chances.

They have been in so much dirt and corruption for so long... way back to the 70’s.. and just now getting charged.. sort of anyway.. so far. It took a long time and I guess the millions pocketed caught up with them... there must be more to this that hasn’t been told, yet.. wikileaks has done a magnificent piece of work .. and as illegal as it might be... it took that to get to the clintons, which was worse.

I’m not sure Congress has such authority. But it’s a nice story.

Well, Congress has the power of subpoena. That's something. Barring the use of that power, there might be traditional reasons for such interactions between the Legislative and Executive Branches.

It's an interesting topic.

Does this have anything to do with "advise & consent"?

I think there’s even more.

No one told me this, but...

I think Huma Abedin Weiner continues to have ties to her Muslim Brotherhood family in Saudi Arabia. She would never communicate using Hillary’s or State Dept devices, but from home? And the NYPD stumbled into the gold mine, due to her husband’s depravity.

History is replete with such hubris and serendipity. It is almost supernatural. Call it Cosmic Justice. God will NOT be mocked.

Comey had an obligation to Congress, one that was actually specified to him.

And the DOJ may have specified something else.

The essence of separation of powers.
