Shortly after the election, a federal judge threw out the new indictment because it violated the five-year statute of limitations and improperly broadened the original charges. President Bush then pardoned Weinberger.
Keep this history in mind during the coming days when you hear Democratic hacks talking about how awful it is for law enforcement officials and/or prosecutors to "interfere" in the presidential election process."
Wasn’t there also something like this regarding Senator Stevens of Alaska?
I remember that. Lawrence Walsh-Republican. I knew then everything was rigged and politically motivated. Somewhere down the road it was ‘Republican business interests’ that favored a Harry Reid reelection for the Senate.
The Klinton Kulture of Korruption. Let them eat their own words.
That indictment of Bush was the FIRST THING that came to mind when this happened. Like it or not, if you’re under investigation while campaigning, there is ALWAYS a possibility of something like this happening, particularly if you are as corrupt as Clinton.
What I have never understood, over the past year, is: WHY have Republicans not DEMANDED a Special Prosecutor for this case... a LONG TIME ago.
Obama himself is hip deep in this whole mess. There is NO WAY the Justice Dept can do a fair investigation. If ever there was a case needing a Special Prosecutor, it was this one.
If somebody just had video of Hillary acting all indignant about Walsh’s indictment! It would be priceless.
Wow, the real LAW OF RETRIBUTION at work, and no one is even noticing. The HAND OF THE LORD is in all of this.
Interesting that the Bush’s side with the Klintons now on this election so I guess all is forgiven from their persective
Bttt
This needs to saturate Twitter for the next week.
It’s OK with Hillar if this occurs four days before an election if it helps her get into the White House.
It’s not OK with Hillary if it occurs 11 days before an election if it might prevent her from getting into the White House.
