Major Paper: Dems Should Ask Hillary to Step Aside
Conservative Angle ^

Posted on 10/30/2016 5:04:25 PM PDT by Ed Jenner

(Chicago Tribune) – Has America become so numb by the decades of lies and cynicism oozing from Clinton Inc. that it could elect Hillary Clinton as president, even after Friday’s FBI announcement that it had reopened an investigation of her emails while secretary of state?

We’ll find out soon enough.

It’s obvious the American political system is breaking down. It’s been crumbling for some time now, and the establishment elite know it and they’re properly frightened. Donald Trump, the vulgarian at their gates, is a symptom, not a cause. Hillary Clinton and husband Bill are both cause and effect.

FBI director James Comey’s announcement about the renewed Clinton email investigation is the bombshell in the presidential campaign. That he announced this so close to Election Day should tell every thinking person that what the FBI is looking at is extremely serious.

This can’t be about pervert Anthony Weiner and his reported desire for a teenage girl. But it can be about the laptop of Weiner’s wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin, and emails between her and Hillary. It comes after the FBI investigation in which Comey concluded Clinton had lied and been “reckless” with national secrets, but said he could not recommend prosecution.

So what should the Democrats do now?

Rubio would be marginally OK, but the other two are reprobates.

It’s about as likely as giving up on Ted Kennedy after Chappaquidick.

Rubio would be OK??? Can you imagine that man-child trying to run against the evil that is hilLIARy and the entire media?

Rubio was a setup right from the start. I remember when he first ran I wondered why he was so popular on all the TV stations. I ever wrote to FOX news morning show asking them if the knew there were several hundred other congressional races, and so they did not have to be “all Rubio, all the time”

They were playing the long ball- setting him up so they could knock him down with their next.

Rubio would have been Worse than Romney- because while I firmly believe Romney is a good man, he is a terrible candidate.

This is only an opinion piece written by one of their columnists, John Kass, whose work is published on page two of the news section. He’s NOT a member of the editorial board. The Chicago Tribune itself has NOT recommended that she step down.

And by the way, Pimp Boi ... this article has managed to get itself posted three times without the help of your blog.

Seems kind of pointless to give you clicks for yesterday’s news, eh?

The Dems knew what that trash was when they nominated her. They’re not about to abandon her now. Hopefully she’s the millstone that will drown them in their own cesspool.
