The Twitter account belonging to the hacker group Wikileaks featured a mysterious tweet last night hinting that another release of documents related to the presidential campaign was imminent, perhaps as soon as today.
Previous releases of John Podesta's emails by the group have embarrassed the Clinton campaign.
The Hill:
“We transition to phrase [sic] three of our US election coverage next week. Keep us strong: https://shop.wikileaks.org/donate,” wrote the site.
It did not provide information about what the third phase entails or if there are still more revelations to come.
Wikileaks supporters, now including a number of disgruntled GOP nominee Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders supporters, immediately replied with tweets expressing hope that phase three would ultimately damage Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign. User “CorruptMedia” responded with a Photoshopped estimating what CNN coverage of Clinton being escorted to jail would look like.
A new archive of Clinton-related documents would further irk a campaign still reeling from FBI director James Comey's announcement on Friday that new emails related to the Clinton server probe had been discovered.
But there is at least some reason to believe Wikileaks could release material that is not solely Clinton related.
Wikileaks has already posted stolen emails from the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign chief John Podesta. The hacker or hackers Guccifer 2.0 took credit for the DNC breach and are widely believed to be a front for a Russian intelligence group tied to the Podesta breach.

Porn surfing being a ‘given’, I’m betting if there is ANYthing remotely related to the subject of sex, with which he is obsessed, involving anybody in his ‘circle’ of acquaintances (& marriage to Huma opened a lot of doors that would be closed to him otherwise) that he was able to get his hands on, it’s on that computer. Can you imagine the perverse pleasure he would get from having something like that & being able to look at it while Huma is off gallivanting around with Hilly while he has been relegated to babysitter? The guy is a narcissist ..... I’d bet money he’s got more than a backup of Hilly’s server on that laptop. He also knows what typically happens to pedophiles in prison so he’s going to be highly motivated to sing like a canary to the Feds.
