FBI Director James Comey reopened the agency's investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails last week because "almost 100" agents threatened to resign before next week's election, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay told Newsmax TV.
"A few weeks ago, almost 100 agents were threatening Comey that they were going to resign — and that kind of pressure is what turned him around," DeLay, 69, the majority leader from 2003 to 2005, said on Tuesday's "The Steve Malzberg Show." "It wasn't Comey or his integrity.

Probably also threats to expose Comey for obstruction of justice. I doubt he went willingly.
The one article said even Comey’s wife was on his case about it.
Comey is just buying time. He sat on information that was critical and he thought he had everyone in line. Unfortunately for him, there are still people of honor in our government. He is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
If they don’t nail the Clinton’s, these FBI agents will be ruined.

Anyone at the FBI that has put themselves in harms way is a hero and deserves the appreciation and support of everyone who loves justice and his country.
If the Clintons win no honorable person will want to be part of a government headed by such a monster unless they are only staying to throw a monkey wrench in the machine...
I would gladly vote, campaign for and contribute to DeLay as would a lot of my Texas friends if he would run against Cornyn. Talk about shaking up Texas politics! Cornyn has a YUGE war chest though.
I heard that he is the one who investigated the pardons Clinton issued.
This could get real ugly if it is deemed he did them a solid back then too.

Honestly, if Hillary goes down next Tuesday (as we can now expect), I don’t think either she or Bill will last a year.
FYI, DeLay has been extremely, and I mean extremely anti-Trump this election. Check out some of his interviews this past year and you`ll see what I mean. Nasty and snarky to Trump with not a kind word to be found. Of course with one week to go and a landslide on the horizon, he`s probably changing his tune.
