We sold Iraq tanks with enhanced situational awareness capabilities but without depleted uranium armor. They have lesser armor capabilities based on only sandwiching steel and aluminum carbides. Israel and our Arab allies opposed allowing Iraq to have our latest armor, because they rightly understood that Iran would have these.
Possibly staged with a left-behind tank, and few if any tank in the world can take a rocket up the heiney and not go boom. That’s just how it is. I’m not panicking.
