Andrew Sullivan was among the intial ‘gay marriage’ conspirators.
He supported and participated in every effort to quash legal, duly passed, constitutional, democratic referenda via judge and venue shopping and, of course, supported Anthony Kennedy’s bizarre stream of consciousness rant posing as judicial opinion that imposed the unnatural and unwanted upon the masses.
He of all people is inherently unqualified to talk about fascism especially since he apprently has only an intermittent understanding of the concept and practice.

About fascism, that came about from nationalism, and happened in countries that got it very bad as a result of losing a war. Trying to fix a nation and get more employment back in the nation, without throwing away the rights like freedom of speech or freedom of religion is important here. Trump wants to keep us from getting into the impoverished hellhole status that makes the real dangerous idealogues a good chance at coming to power. But Sullivan frequently strikes me as some elitist who lacks much touch with the little people, unlike Trump’s remarks at getting outreach to the urban poor.
