Why is always “We must work across the aisle”?

Why isn’t it ever “They must work across the aisle”?

Answer that and you’ll understand why Willard and McCain both got beat.

Has Trump even uttered “across the aisle” once this campaign? How totally refreshing to NOT hear our standard bearer say that miserable, defeatist phrase?

Very good comment and question. Nobody ever says, “Why don’t THEY work across the aisle?” I’ll tell you why. Because the GOP is fully on-board with the pay-to-play, big government racket. They have no interest in pushing massive spending cuts and asking democrats to meet them halfway. Could you imagine for one minute the Republicans demanding a 20% across-the-board cut in federal spending and the democrats proposing a 10% cut and agreeing to compromise at 15% ? In your dreams. The republicans use the democrats to push their own big-government agenda. The democrats ask for an annual 10% annual increase in federal spending, the GOP proposes a 5% increase, then compromise at 7.5%. Then the democrats with the media fully on board trash the GOP for demanding a 5% cut in benefits for “our most vulnerable citizens.”
