I suppose I should know this, but I don’t — why do they count the Early Votes now? Why do they tell us the “results” of the Early Votes before election day?

To me, it’s just blatant info for the fraud people: “Okay, I need to manufacture at least this many votes, plus a cushion, and so ...”

On a typical Election Day Tuesday, the media is supposed to keep quiet until the polls close. But Early Voting? They tell us as much as they possibly can. So that plans can be made.

I don’t like it.

I don’t think they publish the actual vote totals.

Rather, they they publish the numbers of Independent, Democrat and Republican registered voters voting.

They are however unable to tell how many Democrats voted for Trump

I wish they didn't report early voting either.

That said, these numbers reflect voter registrations, not actual results.

You can't tell from these numbers how many R's voted for someone other than Trump or how many D's voted for someone other than Hillary. You certainly can't tell from the raw numbers how independent/unaffiliated voted.

It's a bit of a cottage industry predicting how early voters decided. I think we can say the trend favors Trump, but we can't say more than that.

They are actually not results. All they tell you how many registered democrats have cast their ballot, and how many registered republicans have cast their ballot. The assumption is that they vote for their respective candidate.

The “results” don’t tell you about cross overs; some “results” also tell you how many independents have cast their ballot, but it is unknown for whom.

At least, that’s what I have learned by reading FR.

No one’s counting anything until Tuesday

“Why do they tell us the “results” of the Early Votes before election day?”

The article only references results of a poll - not actual votes.

In some cases, we’ve learned the totals of Republican versus Democrat early voting ballots that have been turned in. Even those won’t be opened and counted til election day.
