An Arizona sheriff who became a national political figure by cracking down on illegal immigration and jailing inmates in tents lost Tuesday after 24 years in office, eliminating the last vestige of the state's decade-old movement of local police confronting people in the country illegally.

Joe had no margin to work with against the Soros assault. His age worked against him. More than a few of his supporters thought he should have stepped aside in favor of a younger man.

Sheriff Joe endorsed Trump from Day 1 and was with him the 8 times Trump and Pence were out to AZ. Soros personally donated 2 million to his opponents campaign.
Sheriff Joe is a remarkable man of 84 years. I’ll never forget how he can campaigned for Pres.-elect Trump.

Arpaio had 3 things going against him 1) his age; 2) the CPS scandal; and 3) Soros millions. I am very concerned about Penzone being Sheriff of Maricopa county. I predict that he will refuse to enforce immigration laws in this county and therefore turn us into a Sanctuary County.
