The purchasing office was in Cleveland, then moved to Burns Harbor as Bethlehem slowly consolidated. They operated an older steamer named “Sparrow’s Point” that ran on straight N6 oil. Bethlehem also had a pair of 1,000 footers, “Burns Harbor” and “Stewart J. Cort” that burned N2 fuel.
The Sparrow’s Point is retired. The two “footers” are renamed and part of American Steamship’s fleet.
