Pamela we love ya but an election that isn't called until 3 AM is indeed a squeaker, and it is indeed close. The live thread at 8 PM was halfway to being a mass suicide note.
My point is that it is frustrating to search for 30 minutes for 2 days post election and find no reference to the EV total. Nearly all are stuck at 279 as if it were 3AM Nov 9.
It’s intentional and undermines Trump’s win.
He won 30 states or more...
I was giving a quick listen to Ben Sharpiro this morning and he’s claiming that Trump had about the same number of total votes as McCain in 2008 but Hillary lost about 10 million of the Obama votes. His point was that Trump did not draw out a lot of new votes. What he DID NOT address is how many Republican/Conservative votes were “repressed” due to his and other #nevertrumpers traitorous behavior this election cycle. Was it 100,000, 1 million, more? We will never know for sure, all we know is they stood on the sidelines during the battle and deserve no respect from me now. Oh well.....MAGA!
The argument that we should use the popular instead of the EC numbers, post-election, is a mind-numbingly stupid proposal. There is a huge difference between the popular vote in the current system and the popular vote that would occur if you were, from the start of the campaign, going to use it as your results determiner. In that case both sides would have campaigned in Texas, California, New York, etc. The final results would have been totally different.

The EV was a landslide, but be cautious that the popular vote tells another story.
Clinton got 47.7%
Trump got 47.5%
Out of about 118 million currently tallied.
Recall Romney’s 47% remark? Well, we are a divided nation just under 48%. A few vote swings in a few precincts could have giving a different president-elect.
At the 2004 Dem convention, Edwards gave his 2 America’s speech and Obama gave his national unity speech. Now, 14 years later, Edwards was right and Obama failed to unite the nation during his 8 years. Obama actually increased the national divide. In 2004, Bush got 51% and Kerry got 48%. In 2008, Obama got 52.9% and McCain got 45.7%.

Oh it isn’t just that they are communist, in California they are horrified at the thought of showing ID to vote and illegals can get driver’s licenses anyway.
I guarantee you, at LEAST one million votes for Hillary in California were illegal.

I hate to break it to you, but it was neck-and-neck. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have been up past 3 AM (CST) watching votes come in precinct-by-precinct and trying to see if the 'Rats would get back within the margin of fraud/recount. Trump tipped the needle, but not by a lot.
Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL thing!!! Also about the popular vote. They are going to California stats to talk about how Hillary received those excess votes in California. I live in California and did vote. There were 3 million votes out of California for Trump and (I think I remember 5.5 million for the elitist witch.) The thing they also don’t figure, although I do question, is the voters that merely don’t even vote here that were for Trump of just chose not to decide given that they really felt their vote wouldn’t count anyway. As California always goes blue these days for the president (and sadly pretty much anything else.) Even had a race where it was just 2 Democrats against each other. (rolling eyes).
Although it wasn’t called by the TV news until 3AM, the AP knew the reality much much earlier. They were just trying to spare the Clinton’s their grief for a bit.
At 12:15 AM -—The front page of the USA Today was printed and flown around the nation. It reads: TRUMP’S STRENGTH LEADS TO ELECTION STUNNER.
At that point in time, the EV vote was at 244 to 209 and the remaining large EV states were nearly all leaning very strongly for DJT. It would have taken a miracle to reverse. Miracles come from above, not below, where the Clinton’s dwell.
This isn’t just a mind exploding Trump victory - it is our victory, America’s victory.
And victory is the greatest revenge.
The Obama criminals have reigned for 8 years, abusing their government powers, stomping good, patriotic Americans into the dirt.
And America’s First Crime Family, the Clintons, expected to waltz into the White House where they would continue, and even expand the breadth and depth of the liberal/leftist evil rule.
But true Americans rose up to take the country back from the evildoers!
I had felt sure this was going to be a Trump blowout for quite a while before the election. But I must admit, when they first started talking about the vote late on Tuesday afternoon, I got scared. When the real votes started coming in, my spirits soared! It was fabulous!
