This hateful and disgusting behavior is the direct result of the Clinton campaign and main stream media deliberately providing volumes and volumes of misinformation about Donald Trump.
They made unjustified and untrue allegations much like the communists described in the book "Iron Curtain."
It was a campaign to magnify minor flaws while ignoring their own monumental faults. Disgraceful and not easy to undo.
How long will it take for the brainwashed to recover? Or is it that they have a lifetime of fooling themselves? It is so easy to foment hate. Our high schools and colleges are full of seriously misinformed, intolerant students and worse teachers.
I am so with you on this. I, too, deactivated my Facebook account for exactly the same reason. I say nothing to anyone about my political views because I do not want to be called names.
I think what leftists did not understand is that for years people on the right have been silenced by their bullying tactics, and they were shocked to find out that we even exist.
Maybe this is their “extinction burst”.
When bullies are confronted and dealt with(or sometimes simply ignored)they often escalate for a time before backing down.
I remember about 35 years ago when my little 8 year old girl got beat up by three 11 year old boys on her way home from school. The school would do nothing about it, so we enrolled her in martial arts classes the very next day.
Four months later, the same 3 boys wanted to beat her up again. She sent all 3 to the emergency room and was never picked on by anyone ever again.
My grandson is now enrolled in the same classes, and has already resolved his own problems with a bully.
